556 UPNVJ Students Carry Out Self-Actualization Through the Ministry of Education and Culture's MSIB Program

Public Relations UPNVJ – A total of 556 UPN "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) students successfully graduated as Certified Independent Study and Internship participants (MSIB) which is one of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) programs.

The Merdeka Campus Certified Internship is an expedited and accelerated internship program with well-designed learning experiences. The Merdeka Campus Certified Independent Study is classroom learning that is specifically designed and created based on real challenges faced by partners/industry.

Of the seven faculties at UPNVJ, there are six participating faculties in sending their students to improve the quality of their student resources through the 6th Batch MSIB program.

The six faculties are the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Faculty of Computer Science (FIK), Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Faculty of Engineering (FT), Faculty of Law (FH), and Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES).

In more detail, based on data released by the UPNVJ Learning Development and Quality Assurance Institute (LP3M), FEB is the faculty that sends the most students to this program. There are 10 students who take part in independent studies. Meanwhile, there are 138 students for internships. The total is 148 students.

Then at FIK it was discovered that the independent study program was attended by 51 people and 83 students participated in internships. The total is 135 students.

Furthermore, at FISIP there are 11 students who carry out independent studies. Meanwhile, there are 116 students for internships. The total is 127 students.

At FT it is known that there are 34 students who carry out independent studies and 76 students who carry out internships. The total number of students taking part in MSIB is 110 students.

Then at FH there are 32 students doing internships. It is known that no one has conducted an independent study.

Just like FH at FIKES, there are only 5 students who take part in internships.

The university certainly hopes that through student participation in the MSIB program they can follow their passion in preparing themselves to enter the professional world.

This opportunity is considered a good learning space for students to actualize themselves. (sf)
