3rd ANNIVERSARY OF COUNTRY AND 54 YEARS OF ITS ESTABLISHMENT
UPN "VETERAN" JAKARTA

Coinciding with the monthly ceremony on the 17th, on this day it was held on August 18 2017, as the flag ceremony was completed, the Chancellor opened the 3rd UPN "Veteran" Jakarta National Anniversary event and 54 years of the establishment of the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta campus. This year's Anniversary with the theme " From Us to the Nation ", which will be enlivened at the highlight of the Anniversary which falls on October 6 2017.
Prior to arriving at the highlight of the Anniversary this time, it was enlivened by various Academic and Non-Academic competitions including Student Creativity Program Contest, Essay Contest, Learning Process Contest, English Speech Contest, Photo Contest, Anniversary Logo Design Contest, Regional Pop Song Contest , Sports competitions and social services such as blood donation, free medical treatment and pilgrimage to the Heroes Cemetery.
On October 5 2017 there will be a national seminar with the theme "New Challenges of Character Education in Indonesia" with resource persons: Dr. Ronny Adhi Karya (Retiree The World Bank, Ex-FAO/United Nations Representative), and Anggito Abimanyu, Ph. .d. At the peak event on October 6 2017, to be precise at the Bhineka Tunggal Ika Auditorium, a Senate Session will take place and continue with a Scientific Oration.
At the beginning of the match activities in the framework of Dies Natalis, namely on September 19 2017, it began with a chess match. The Chess competition was opened by the Chancellor, Mr. Eddy S. Siradj and accompanied by the Chief Executive for the Anniversary, Mr. Heru Suyanto, a permanent lecturer from the Faculty of Law. The first step of the chess match was initiated by the Chancellor which was witnessed by the Chief Executive and the Chess Match Coordinator, namely Mr. Alfiani. The chess competition lasted for 2 days, from 19 to 20 September 2017. The results of the chess competition were: the 1st place was won by the Team of the Faculty of Economics and Business, and the 2nd place was won by the AKPK Bureau Team and the 4th place was won by Joint Team from Institutional satker and UPT. xxx
