HumasUPNVJ - UPN Veteran Jakarta as a campus that has an identity as the State Defense Campus has become a necessity to implement the values of defending the State in campus life, on that basis UPN Veteran Jakarta today, Monday (02/17/20) again held a flag ceremony in the building's yard Wahidin UPNVJ.
The ceremony led by Muh. Nur Hasan Syah, a lecturer at the UPNVJ Faculty of Health Sciences, went smoothly and solemnly. In front of hundreds of ceremony participants which included all UPNVJ academics, acting as the supervisor of the ceremony was Anter Venus, the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.
The ceremony which is held every 17th is a form of implementation of UPNVJ as a State Defense Campus. It is hoped that this ceremonial activity will be a form of concern for all of us to continue the ideals of our predecessors in defending the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
In the UPNVJ Chancellor's message delivered by the ceremonial supervisor, he reminded all academics about UPNVJ's duties as an educational institution tasked with educating the life of the nation and developing the whole Indonesian human being, namely human beings who believe and have piety towards God Almighty and have noble character, have knowledge and skills, physical and mental health, independent personality and sense of responsibility in society and nationality.
Not only that, in his address the supervisor of the ceremony appreciated the achievements made by the students. The achievements that were achieved at the beginning of 2020 included FIKES students winning the best proposal in the Asia Pacific Youth Exchange program in Manila Philippines, Faculty of Medicine students winning 1st place and 3 National level at the Indonesian Medical Students Training and Competition in the field of photography at Brawijaya University Malang, FIKES students won 3rd place in the K3 quiz competition at the Central Jakarta K3 K3 center and Faculty of Medicine students again won 1st place in the public poster competition at the Indonesian Medical Student 2020 event at Lampung University.
The master of ceremonies expressed his gratitude for the great contribution to UPNVJ. And hopefully the achievements that have been achieved will be a good start and as preparation for competing in the world of work.
