HumasUPNVJ - The story of the emotion of a mother Rohisoh (46) and father Yayan Syahroni (51) replacing their daughter to attend the graduation ceremony at UPN Veteran Jakarta, on Sunday (26/09/21).
This was because his beloved child had just died of illness, they were the parents of the child named Sonya Lapitacara Sahroni who came from the Nursing Study Program at the Faculty of Health Sciences.
The child died because he was diagnosed with fluid in his brain on (13 August 2021). Before closing her age, Sonya had completed her thesis trial and enrolled in the Professional Program to continue her studies.
Sonya is one of the smartest students, it is proven that the deceased graduated with a Grade Point Average of 3.73.
"Sonya is the type of child who rarely complains about anything, even when she feels pain she tries to stay calm and read Asmaul Husna until it's finished, so I didn't expect that she would go this fast," Rohisoh told the UPNVJ Public Relations team, on Sunday (26/09/ 21).
Rohisoh also said that his son had had a motorcycle accident beforehand, but because there were no complaints from the child and they were carrying out their usual activities, Rohisoh and her husband were not worried.
"Ever fell from the motorbike but he didn't tell us, everything went as usual, but he often complained of being dizzy after feeling extraordinary dizziness, so we took him to the hospital," said Rohisoh.
While representing her child, Rohisoh, wearing her daughter's toga dress and accompanied by her husband, seemed to be trying hard to get to the stage. The atmosphere of emotion was boisterous in the room, applause of appreciation thundered to accompany the footsteps of the two parents.
"I thank Sonya's colleagues and the Faculty and University for their support for my child while studying. I also ask to open the door for forgiveness if all this time there have been wrong words and actions that my child has done," he hoped.
"To your comrades in arms, continue your work and achievements, be children who make your parents proud," said Rohisoh in front of all the graduates with unbearable emotion.
With the steadfastness of a mother and father as well as the emotion of the graduates, the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Dr. drg. Wahyu Sulistiadi, MARS led a prayer addressed to the deceased.
