HumasUPNVJ - Located in the Abdul Muis Room, Nusantara DPR RI Building (10/11/21), Jakarta Veterans National Development University, which was attended by the Chancellor Dr. Erna Hernawati, AK. CPMA. ca. CGOP, signed a memorandum of understanding regarding the procurement of goods and services with the Inspectorate General of the DPR RI together with six other elements, namely Pertamina University, Bhayangkara University Jakarta Raya, PT Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadung, the Certified Mitigation in Procurement Institute ( CMiP) and the Balance Sheet Economic Daily. The event wrapped in the National Seminar entitled Prevention of Problems in the Procurement of Goods and Services. Also attending as a guest speaker at this national seminar were the Secretary General of the DPR RI Dr. Indra Iskandar, M.Si , Head of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), Dr. Ardan Adhi Perdana, AK MBA, CFRS, and Setya Budi Arijanta SH, KN as Deputy for Law on Complaint Settlement of LPKP.
This event was held in relation to the Tridharma of higher education, Freedom to Learn and Independent Campus (MBKM) and the establishment of the Certified Mitigation in Procurement (CMiP) association.
Dr. Jubaedah, SE, MM who is the Deputy Dean III of the UPNVJ Faculty of Economics and BUSINESS as well as the chief executive of the event said that the purpose of establishing the CMiP Association is to serve as a place for training and competency testing for every person who wants to have Certified Mitigation in Procurement as well as Institutions that have a commitment to carry out CMiP quality development, "With the existence of the CMiP Association it is hoped that it can assist the government's efforts in reducing / preventing problems in the field of procurement of goods and services," he said
In his remarks, the Secretary General of the DPR RI Dr. Indra Iskandar, M.Si said that the steps taken by the DPR Secretariat General were a form of struggle today. "On this special Heroes' Day, we try to participate in efforts to educate the nation's life through contributions and providing solutions through a series of activities to prevent problems in the procurement of goods and services," he concluded
"With the existence of the CMIP association, it is hoped that it can assist the government's efforts to reduce and prevent problems in the procurement of goods and services," he continued.
Indra hopes that after the commitment through the establishment of the association that was built today will be of benefit to the community "The association and research institution in question is the CMIP association which is expected to be managed professionally and accountably and also carry a social mission and community service such as providing training without charge or free”, he concluded.
Procurement of goods and services is a very strategic activity which so far still has problems in its implementation. For example, problems in the preparation process, starting from the HPS (Provisional Estimated Price) which does not match the market price, the absence of documentation, incomplete document filling, as well as indications of additional costs which could become legal issues in the future.
