HumasUPNVJ - In connection with the plan to establish a medical faculty, the University of Borneo Tarakan (UBT) conducted a working visit to UPN Veteran Jaakarta (UPNVJ) on Tuesday, 02/22/2022.

On this visit Prof. Dr. Adri Patton, M.Sc., the Chancellor of UBT and his staff were welcomed directly by the Chancellor of UPNVJ and representatives of the university senate at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium, Pondok Labu UPNVJ Rectorate Building.

The Chancellor of UBT attended by inviting the chairman and members of the senate from the campus which is located in Kalimantan.

In this case the Chancellor of UPNVJ Dr. Erna Hernawati, Ak, CPMA, CA, CGOP said that the UPNVJ medical faculty has now achieved accreditation with the title of Excellence

"I hope that I can guide and learn from each other so that in the future UBT will have the same footprint as UPNVJ," said Erna.

"The plan for this visit is to establish a friendly relationship. And we want to study and get input regarding the medical faculty. After the meeting with Mas Minister Nadiem and Prof. Nizam the other day we also discussed about FK. We also received support and commitment from the Governor and Mayor to open the UBT FK , and we need UPNVJ to receive their learning and experience," said the Chancellor of UBT.

"I hope the UBT senate and UPNVJ can discuss with each other. We are also preparing ourselves to become BLU and we have to think about preparing," he hoped.

On this occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Dr.dr.H.Taufiq Fredrik Pasiak, M.Kes., M.Pd.I gave a thorough explanation and description in the form of a presentation to the Chancellor of UBT and his staff regarding the UPNVJ medical faculty.

An explanation of the faculty's vision and mission, several competitive advantages in UPNVJ Faculty of Medicine were also the main topics that were conveyed to the various facilities in UPNVJ Faculty of Medicine. Some of these things were discussed and discussed together so that UBT could understand and get to know more about the UPNVJ FK.
