HumasUPNVJ – UPN “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) celebrated its 47th Dies Natalis with great enthusiasm and pride. The peak event took place lively on November 30, 2024 at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium, Pondok Labu Campus.

UPNVJ Rector, Dr. Anter Venus, MA., Comm in his speech said that the anniversary celebration or dies natalis is an important UPNVJ tradition. According to him, this year's dies natalis celebration is basically a momentum directed towards four main objectives.

First, Venus considers that Dies Natalis is a time to reflect on UPNVJ's journey both institutionally and academically with all its dynamics.

The next goal is as a celebratory function in celebrating the joy of UPNVJ's journey so far. "In this celebration we also always increase our gratitude to God Almighty for His gift that we continue to progress and develop until now." Venus explained.

Furthermore, Dies Natalis has the function of strengthening relations in order to consolidate oneself and strengthen the bonds of togetherness both internally and externally to continue transforming UPNVJ to be more superior.

Finally, Venus said that the celebration of dies natalis is a space for academic expression and achievement. Through dies natalis, the entire UPNVJ academic community always expresses gratitude and is committed to strengthening and improving academic achievements and academic culture.

"Today we celebrate our anniversary by continuing to strengthen our appreciation for academic achievement, strengthening academic culture and improving our Integrity and Intellectuality as scientific citizens." He said.

Within the framework of reflecting on UPNVJ's journey as a scientific institution, UPNVJ proudly states that UPNVJ has undergone a major transformation since being nationalized in 2014. This transformation can generally be seen in ten areas of university development including the field of institutional organization, learning, research and community service, outstanding student programs, educational facilities and infrastructure, student welfare, lecturers and education staff, human resources, aspects of institutional identity (including national defense, organizational culture and branding), cooperation and entrepreneurship, and finally the transformation for UPNVJ's internationalization.

UPNVJ's 47-year journey is proof of a shared commitment to producing a strong, innovative, and integrity-based generation. In the future, it is hoped that all UPNVJ academics can increase collaboration, innovation, and contribution to Indonesia's development through the world of higher education.

With the spirit of 47 years, UPNVJ is also committed to continuing to accelerate to realize the vision of being a superior university in the national and international arena and becoming the pride of the nation.

The 47th anniversary of UPNVJ was previously enlivened by a series of interactive and inspiring activities ranging from arts and sports activities for lecturers, education staff, and students at the national level.
