UPNVJ Public Relations – The Rector of the National Development University “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ), Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MA, Comm., attended the Photography Exhibition organized by the Film, Television, and Media Studies Study Program. The event took place at the UPNVJ Rectorate Building from Wednesday, November 26 to Thursday, November 27, 2025. The Rector awarded prizes to the five best photography works, selected for the students’ courage in exploring social and humanitarian issues. This activity emphasized the role of photography as a mass communication tool that supports the value of national defense.
This exhibition provides a platform for students to showcase their visual, artistic, and technical abilities. The works on display reflect the students' perspectives on social, cultural, environmental, and humanitarian issues in society. Through these themes, participants not only hone their technical skills but also develop social awareness aligned with UPNVJ's national defense character.
KFTVM students focus on developing talents in photography and audiovisual media. Activities like this encourage collaboration among students, the exploration of ideas, and self-expression. Exhibitions also have educational value, strengthening the understanding of photography as an effective communication medium that conveys meaningful messages.
Furthermore, this event is expected to expand creative networks among students and strengthen solidarity. KFTVM's potential will also become more widely known, opening up opportunities for greater collaboration in the future.
Prof. Anter Venus stated that this exhibition aligns with UPNVJ's vision of developing a creative and responsible young generation. "Activities like this reinforce the campus' policy of integrating art with national defense education, so that students not only excel academically but also contribute positively to society," he said. This achievement demonstrates UPNVJ's commitment to producing superior graduates who are ready to face global challenges.
