UPNVJ and BBPVP Bekasi Explore Collaboration on Vocational Certification for the Global Job Market

Jakarta, November 5, 2025 – The National Veteran Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) received a visit from the Bekasi Vocational Training and Productivity Center (BBPVP) in the Rector's office to discuss collaboration on training and graduate competency certification.

This visit focused on strengthening student readiness to meet industry demands, including sending workers abroad through internationally recognized programs. Led by the Head of BBPVP, Yose Rizal, S.TP., MM, the team was received by UPNVJ Rector Prof. Anter Venus and the career development unit.

The UPNVJ Chancellor emphasized student skill-orientation. "We support certification to ensure graduates are ready for the job market," he said. Yose Rizal described this program as a mutually beneficial synergy to bridge the campus with the business and industry (DUDI) world.

The discussion highlighted international P2 certification training, including English and German language support. BBPVP offers five vocational programs: welding, electronics, refrigeration, information and communication technology, and tourism, tailored to the needs of UPNVJ graduates. This program aims to bridge the supply-demand gap in skilled labor.

Yose added that detailed mechanisms will be formulated soon for short-term implementation. "UPNVJ graduates can fill the needs of the industrial and industrial sectors with technical competencies," he said. This collaboration strengthens the role of BBPVP as a unit of the Ministry of Manpower in increasing national productivity.

UPNVJ is committed to producing competent, nationalistic graduates. This collaboration marks a positive step in developing Indonesia's globally competitive human resources.
