UPNVJ Vice Rector III Presents 2025 Student Affairs Kaleidoscope: Achieving 590 Achievements and a Superior Predicate in Simkatmawa

Public Relations of UPNVJ — Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Cooperation, and Information Systems of the National Development University “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ), Dr. dr. Ria Maria Theresa, Sp.KJ., MH, delivered the 2025 Student Affairs Kaleidoscope report as a comprehensive overview of the implementation, achievements, and accomplishments of UPNVJ students throughout 2025. This report is a reflection of the university’s commitment to fostering students who are high-achieving, have character, and are competitive.

In her report, Dr. Ria emphasized that the student affairs sector does not only focus on the quantity of activities, but also on the quality of student development.

"This Student Kaleidoscope reflects how UPNVJ continues to strive to create a healthy, productive, and impactful student ecosystem, both at the national and international levels," he said.

Throughout 2025, the UPNVJ Student Affairs Division consistently facilitated and supervised various student organization activities. The activity began with the inauguration of the Chairpersons of Student Organizations, including the Chairperson of the Student Executive Board (BEM), the Chairperson of the Student Representative Council (MPM), and 26 Chairpersons of Student Activity Units (UKM) on January 20, 2025, at the UPNVJ Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium. This activity was followed by a Student Organization Work Meeting on March 4–6, 2025, which outlined the work programs of 28 student organizations.

According to Dr. Ria, mentoring student organizations is a primary focus for the university. "We ensure that all student organizations operate in accordance with applicable regulations. We provide ongoing mentoring and monitoring, especially for off-campus activities, to ensure they remain safe, orderly, and provide tangible benefits," she explained.

To strengthen student leadership capacity, UPNVJ also held a Student Management Skills Training (PKMM) on February 20–21, 2025, attended by 98 participants from university and faculty student organizations. Furthermore, a Student Entrepreneurship Development Program Socialization was conducted on May 16, 2025, resulting in four student groups receiving funding and preparing to participate in the KMI Expo.

The strategic student activities were also marked by the implementation of the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) for the 2025/2026 Academic Year on August 11–12, 2025 at Tennis Indoor Senayan, Gelora Bung Karno, "PKKMB is not just an introduction to the campus, but also a momentum for character formation, national defense values, and the identity of UPNVJ students from the start," he said.

In terms of achievement, UPNVJ students have achieved a remarkable total of 590, comprising 69 international awards, 509 national awards, and 12 provincial awards. These achievements contributed to UPNVJ's Excellence award in the Student Governance Performance Information System (Simkatmawa) cluster 1, announced in 2025.

Closing her report, Dr. Ria expressed her appreciation to all students and student organization supervisors.
"This achievement is the result of collaborative efforts. We appreciate the students, advisors, and all parties who have contributed to advancing UPNVJ's student life. Moving forward, we will continue to encourage students to excel and make a real impact on society," he concluded.
