Anti-Corruption Commitment: UPN Veteran Jakarta's Faculty of Health Sciences Strengthens Six Areas of Change Towards a Corruption-Free Region

 

UPNVJ Public Relations - Jakarta, January 27, 2026, the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) of the Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) held an online Integrity Zone (ZI) Program through the Zoom platform, as a strategic step to realize clean, transparent, and accountable higher education governance. This activity involved faculty leaders, lecturers, and educational staff to support bureaucratic reform and a work culture oriented towards excellent service for the academic community and the wider community. The briefing aims to create an environment free from corruption, collusion, and nepotism, with a focus on improving the quality of education, research, and effective and efficient community service.

In this agenda, FIKES UPNVJ strengthens the commitment of the leadership through the development of internal policies and the implementation of measurable standard operating procedures. The implementation of this program covers six main areas of change: change management for organizational adaptation, governance arrangements for process optimization, human resource management system arrangements for competency improvement, strengthening performance accountability through periodic evaluations, strengthening supervision to prevent deviations, and improving the quality of public services to be more responsive to user needs.

Each area is systematically designed to deliver tangible impacts, such as efficiency in administrative services and increased budget transparency. This step demonstrates UPNVJ's commitment to becoming a model for establishing a Corruption-Free Zone (WBK) within the healthcare higher education sector.
