The competition, held in late 2025, involved students from various universities to present creative content that increases awareness of reproductive health among the younger generation. Maizia won thanks to an engaging, informative video that was relevant to youth issues, and was deemed superior by the judges based on the criteria of creativity and educational impact.
AKUKAMU 2025, or the Youth Reproductive Health Event, aims to educate young people about the importance of reproductive health through visual media. Participants are required to create short, easy-to-understand videos, with an emphasis on risk prevention and healthy lifestyle promotion. Maizia's video integrates elements of political communication with health data, offering practical solutions for urban youth, achieving national impact among Generation Z.
Maizia Hariyanti Zahra expressed her gratitude for this achievement. "Through this video, I want to convey that reproductive health education needs to be delivered in a way that is close to young people. This achievement motivates me to continue working on social issues," she said in an interview on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. She hopes the work will be a useful medium and inspire other students to innovate in similar competitions.
This achievement adds to UPNVJ's track record of supporting students in contributing to social issues through creativity. The university continues to encourage active participation from its academic community in national events to strengthen public education.
