Public Relations of UPNVJ - Syakira Azmi Ali, a Physiotherapy Undergraduate student from the 2022 intake of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ), won 1st place in the Scientific Essay Competition in the Teras Student 2025 national competition. The competition, held by Teras Student at the end of 2025, brought together students from various universities to present creative ideas and solutions through scientific papers. Syakira's work excelled thanks to its originality, depth of analysis, and relevance to physiotherapy health issues, which was evaluated by an independent jury based on strict scientific criteria.
Teras Student 2025, an annual competition focused on developing student scientific thinking, attracted national participants with the theme of health and social innovation. The winner was announced through the official Teras Student account in late 2025, with Syakira outperforming hundreds of other participants with an essay offering practical solutions to contemporary physiotherapy challenges. This achievement marks UPNVJ's contribution to nurturing young talent capable of competing at the national level, while also strengthening the Faculty of Health Sciences' position as a center of innovation.
Syakira Azmi Ali expressed her gratitude for the achievement. "I am very grateful and proud of this achievement. This experience motivates me to continue learning, honing my scientific writing skills, and contributing ideas in the health sector, particularly physiotherapy," she said in an interview on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. She added that she hopes this achievement will inspire fellow UPNVJ students to actively participate in similar competitions and develop their academic potential optimally.
