Ramadan Sharing by DWP UPNVJ: A Form of Social Concern for Orphans on Campus

UPNVJ Public Relations – The Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of UPN “Veteran” Jakarta held an activity “Ramadan Sharing with Dharma Wanita: Building Relationships and Spreading Concern with Orphans in the UPN “Veteran” Jakarta Environment” on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 12:30 WIB, at the UPN Meruyung Complex Mosque. This activity was held to enliven the holy month of Ramadan, strengthen social awareness, and strengthen ties within the campus environment. DWP UPNVJ itself is part of the UPNVJ extended family which actively carries out social and empowerment programs within the university environment.

The event was attended by the Dharma Wanita Persatuan UPNVJ management and orphans from the UPNVJ community. This event is expected to provide a space for togetherness that not only strengthens religious values during Ramadan but also strengthens the spirit of sharing and caring for others.
Through this program, the UPNVJ Student Association (DWP) aims to present activities that have a social impact while strengthening family ties within the university. The presence of orphans in these activities is an important part of efforts to foster empathy, caring, and togetherness, in line with the DWP's role as a strategic partner in building a caring and inclusive campus environment. The UPNVJ DWP's social role has also been reflected in various community activities and strengthening solidarity within the university.

In addition to serving as a form of social service during the holy month of Ramadan, this activity is also expected to strengthen the relationship between the UPNVJ family and the surrounding community. The spirit of sharing fostered through this activity aligns with UPNVJ's commitment as a university that prioritizes the values of humanity, togetherness, and social benefit as part of campus life.

Nantia Rena Venus, Chair of the UPNVJ DWP, in her remarks conveyed the importance of synergy between all elements within the university, "The UPNVJ DWP is one of the parts that supports the institution's progress and strengthens the values of togetherness. In this context, the Ramadan Sharing activity reflects that the social programs run by the UPNVJ family not only strengthen internal solidarity, but also expand the benefits of the campus to the surrounding environment," she said.
