UPNVJ Public Relations – Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) is finalizing preparations to become the center for the 2026 Computer-Based Written Test for the National Selection Based on Test (UTBK-SNBT) through system trials held in all campus examination rooms. The trials are being conducted to ensure all devices and procedures are running optimally before the official implementation. This step is part of UPNVJ's commitment to supporting a transparent, fair, and high-quality national selection.

The 2026 UTBK-SNBT simulation focused on testing the readiness of technological infrastructure, including hardware, software, and internet network stability in each exam room. Furthermore, human resource readiness was a key concern, including room supervisors, technicians, and the support team directly involved in the exam.

UPNVJ's New Student Admissions Coordinator, Fajar Nugroho, S.Kom., MP., stated that all technical aspects have been thoroughly prepared. He emphasized that UPNVJ is committed to providing the best service standards for participants. "We ensure comfortable exam rooms, a stable internet connection, and a strict security system to ensure the smooth and orderly implementation of the UTBK (Competency Test) in accordance with national standards," he said.

As the center for the 2026 UTBK-SNBT, UPNVJ has prepared a total of 29 examination rooms supported by 1,020 computers. These facilities are designed to accommodate effective and efficient exam administration while ensuring participant comfort during the UTBK.

During its implementation, UPNVJ also implements strict standard operating procedures. This process includes multi-layered participant identity verification, a structured exam session schedule, and a technology-based proctoring system to maintain exam integrity. All these steps are designed to minimize potential issues and ensure the exam is conducted objectively.

Through this trial, various potential technical challenges can be identified and anticipated early. Evaluation of the simulation results will serve as the basis for system improvements to ensure optimal implementation of the 2026 UTBK-SNBT at UPNVJ and provide a safe and comfortable exam experience for participants from across Indonesia.

The Chief Executive of the UPNVJ UTBK Center, Dr. Henry Binsar Hamonangan Sitorus., ST, MT, emphasized that this readiness is part of the institution's efforts to maintain the quality of national higher education services. He assessed that UPNVJ's role as a UTBK center is not only administrative, but also strategic in attracting prospective outstanding students. "UPNVJ remains committed to supporting a credible and integrated national selection system as a foundation for improving the quality of higher education in Indonesia," he said.
