Improving Graduate Competencies, UPNVJ Faculty of Engineering Holds “Basic Works Safety Training” Training

(Monday, 15/7/2019). In order to improve the competency of its graduates, the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Faculty of Engineering is working with the Maritime Alumni Association (IKAPAL) located in Gd. Faculty of Engineering UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Jl. Raya Limo Depok held training for students of the Department of Mechanical and Marine Engineering with the subjects "Basic Works Safety Training". The training was attended by 60 students from the Mechanical Engineering and Marine Engineering study programs and lasted for three days from 15 to 17 July 2019.

As a resource person at the event were Dr. Noor Irfan Fahmi (Lioyd Register Asia Pacific), Sanggit Sugiarto (GM China Lion Industry) Edi Santoso (Head of K3 PT. Surveyor Indonesia) Syaiful Hidayat (Director of PT. Bintang Mono Industri).

In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, Dr. Reda Rizal, M.Si said that this training which lasted for three days was so that the participants could make the best use of it because after completing this training the participants would receive an accredited certificate which would later become a diploma or SKPI companion, he said.
