HumasUPNVJ - There was something different in the implementation of the flag-raising ceremony in the framework of the 74th Indonesian Independence Day at UPNVJ, apart from the embedding of the Satya Lancana Karya Satya badge for educators and UPNVJ Civil Servants Education Personnel, the flag ceremony this time was attended by several foreign students from 7 countries .
They are students participating in the 2019 Indonesia International Student Exchange with determination and enthusiasm to take part in the 74th Republic of Indonesia Anniversary ceremony at the Jakarta Veterans National Development University. They wore black and white uniforms and in an orderly and solemn manner participated in the entire series of ceremonies. They were previously given instructions regarding the procedures and format of the Indonesian independence ceremony.
The students participating in the 2019 Indonesia International student exchange included;

(7) Phillip Sperber ( Cologne Business School (CBS)) Germany, and
(8) Kenshin Hiranuma ( University of Kitakyushu ) Japan.
The UPNVJ public relations team had the opportunity to interview one of the student exchange participants from Cologne Business School (CBS) , Phillip Sperber. In his interview, he said that he and his friends were very happy to be able to take part in the Flag Ceremony at UPNVJ because this ceremony is something very sacred because every country will also commemorate their respective country's independence day.
