AKURAT.CO - The government in its current development will continue to strive for the development of human resources for people throughout Indonesia through the Digital Talent Scholarship.
Rudiantara as the Minister of Communication and Informatics (Menkominfo) stated that the government is currently creating a Digital Talent Scholarship program, where this year Kominfo is providing scholarships for 25,000 young Indonesians.
"The government is currently preparing a Digital Talent Scholarship program for 25,000 young talents in Indonesia," he said in an Accurate Room discussion at the Jakarta Veterans National Development University (UPN), Thursday (12/9/2019).
In procuring the scholarships, continued Rudiantara, they will be educated in fourth revolution technology skills. So that in the future they are ready to respond to the needs of the world of work that requires skills and skills.
"So through this scholarship, young people will be directed and educated in technological skills from this fourth revolution. So that when they are released they are able to respond to the needs of the world of work," he explained.
Meanwhile regarding the teaching system, Rudiantara said later this scholarship would focus more on courses or training. So that more emphasis on skill development.
For your information, the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo) states that Indonesia needs around 650,000 digital workers each year.
"So, from 2015 to 2030 there will be a shortage of 9 million digital workers, not only that this country will also have difficulty dealing with the lack of technological development," he said.
So with that, hoped Rudiantara, with this scholarship able to improve the quality of Indonesian human resources to be better at handling massive technological developments.
