HumasUPNVJ - In order to improve good relations with the media, the Public Relations Team along with the Chancellor and UPNVJ leadership visited the Akurat.co Editorial office in the Student Army area, Permata Senayan, Jakarta Monday (11/11/2019).
The Chancellor and his entourage visited the Akurat.co editorial office in order to implement the Memorandum of Understanding between UPNVJ and Akurat.co and to establish friendship and want to add information about Akurat.co.
Muhammad Farid as the Chief Editor of Akurat.co and the Team welcomed the presence of the UPNVJ group. In his remarks, the Chief Editor of UPNVJ also expressed his gratitude for the presence of the Chancellor, Deputy Chancellor, and public relations colleagues who were present and in order to strengthen the cooperation between UPNVJ and Akurat.co.
In addition, there are several collaborations that will be followed up in the future in the field of internships, writers in the Akurat.co rubric and research publications. "We also hope that in the future UPNVJ students can join our office, maybe starting with an internship. We open up great opportunities for those who are interested in the media/journalist field and later we will mentor them here. Apart from internships, we can also invite writers from UPNVJ, both lecturers and students, to fill in the Akurat.co rubric, whether in the field of economics etc. And if there is research from lecturers that requires publication, we will facilitate it as well." Farid explained
The Chancellor of UPNVJ was also grateful for the acceptance and welcome from Akurat.co colleagues. In his remarks, the Chancellor of UPNVJ, Dr. Erna Hernawati said that media visit activities like this are indeed very important to do, especially since UPNVJ and Akurat.co have collaborated. "We, as educational institutions, definitely need publications so that the wider community can know more about UPNVJ, especially in this day and age, universities do not only discuss academic matters. So the role of the media is very important for us.”
