Exclusive Interview with the Chancellor and Outstanding Students in Commemoration of Youth Pledge Day

HumasUPNVJ - After carrying out the ceremony and awarding outstanding students in commemoration of the Youth Pledge Day, the Chancellor of UPN Veterans Jakarta (UPNVJ) Dr. Erna Hernawati, Ak, CPMA, CA, CGOP held a press conference in UPNVJ's Nusantara Room 1, on Thursday (28/10/21).

On this occasion the Chancellor was accompanied by Renasti Pratiwi, a Nursing Study Program student who won a Gold and Bronze Medal in the Shorinji Kempo PON XX Papua 2021 Sports Branch and Triyono, a student from the Faculty of Health Sciences, the best participant in the general field, component of the 2021 TA land reserve component, the Jayakarta Military Command.

In this case, the Chancellor of UPNVJ said that the commemoration of the Youth Pledge had been routinely carried out by UPNVJ, however, this was the first time the achievement award had been presented. This was done to revive a sense of enthusiasm to raise student achievements in making the name of the nation proud.

"The awarding of the first new awards was carried out and will continue to be carried out to always motivate other students not to give up easily in making achievements when we know that our current condition has many limitations due to the Covid-19 pandemic but they are still struggling to make the nation's name and of course UPNVJ proud," said Dr. . Erna in front of media partners.

In addition to the symbolic award, the UPNVJ Chancellor also said that students who received awards would receive different incentives in the form of free Single Tuition Fee (UKT) for 2 semesters for gold medal recipients and 50% UKT for 2 semesters for bronze medals and other incentives for Komcad participants.

"We don't have any special guidance yet, but we do socialization for Komcad. This Komcad program also really helps us in instilling the true value of defending the country, so we are also very supportive of this activity," said Erna in a direct interview with media partners.

Hopefully, this award will trigger the enthusiasm of other students, not to stop making achievements both nationally and internationally to make their parents proud, to make their alma mater and nation proud.
