Dikwal Participants' Testimonials: "This activity makes the feeling of love for the homeland increase"

HumasUPNVJ - The second batch of State Defense Early Education (Dikwal) was attended by 160 participants divided from 104 UPN Veteran Jakarta participants, 26 UPN Veteran Yogyakarta participants and 30 UPN Veteran East Java participants consisting of lecturers and education staff. This Dikwal is held for six days, Sunday 21 November – Friday 26 November 2021.

Dikwal participants took part in various activities both indoor and outdoor activities. One of the indoor activities is a session of providing class material, such as giving material on Marching Line regulations, Protocols, Local Content (Widya Mwat Yasa Material, Indonesian UPN Corps, State Defense, National Insight, Universal Defense System, The Dangers of Sexual Violence, Freedom to Learn Campus Merdeka and various other materials.

While there are many outdoor activities such as ceremonies, marches, group discussions in the field, and outbound to develop leadership, shape individual character, build a strong work team .

The UPNVJ Public Relations Team had the opportunity to conduct an interview with one of the Dikwal participants (24/11), Azwar M.Si revealed that this Dikwal was a very positive activity, “There are many benefits that we get as Dikwal participants. We received various materials related to Defending the Country, Love for the Motherland, National Insight, National Defense and many other materials. Apart from that we were also taught many things related to marching rules and other outdoor activities. Of course, all of these are very positive activities because they provide many benefits for us, the lecturers and education staff of three UPN Veterans throughout Indonesia, "explained Azwar to the team Public relations with passion

"In essence, the important point that we got from the various materials that have been given is how all of these things can be implemented properly in everyday life, especially for us as academics. Hopefully with this Dikwal, we can become better individuals, love our homeland and be responsible," he concluded hopefully.
