First, Master of Laws Conduct Proposal Examination Face to Face

HumasUPNVJ - Master of Law at the Jakarta Veterans National Development University (UPNVJ), is holding a face-to-face proposal examination, this is the first time it has been carried out since the co-19 pandemic.

Face-to-face thesis proposal examinations were carried out on behalf of student Ahadian Putra Nugraha with the title Proposal for Restricting Diversion Against Criminal Acts Committed by Children. The proposal examiner team consists of Dr. Heru Sugiyono, SH, MH (Chairman), Dr. Slamet Tri Wahyudi, SH, MH (Examiner I), Dr. Beniharmoni Harefa, SH, LL.M (Examiner II) which was held in the UPNVJ Master of Law Thesis Examination Room on Wednesday (17/11/2021).

In his report Dr. Beniharmoni said the exam went smoothly with the help of the Law Masters Team, which included Satino, S. Sos (Sessor of MH Study Program) and Yulia Winarti, MH (Administrative Staff of MH).

The Head of the Master of Law Study Program Dr. Beniharmoni explained that the implementation of this inaugural thesis proposal examination was carried out while adhering to health protocols, wearing masks, keeping a safe distance and ensuring that participants and the testing team had been vaccinated twice, and were not feeling unwell.

"We also still make it possible for law graduate students who request an online exam, of course by including a statement letter, the reason why students cannot take the exam face to face." said Dr. Beniharmoni to UPNVJ Public Relations.

In addition, Head of the Faculty of Law Dr. Heru Sugiyono, SH, MH, who is also the chief examiner in the proposal exam, said that the implementation of the proposal exam face-to-face (offline) at the Master of Laws, although the first one, of course, still pays attention to health protocols.

Master of law students whose proposals were tested face-to-face today included Ahadian Putra Nugraha with the title Proposal for Restricting Diversion Against Criminal Acts Committed by Children, Reza Vahlefi with the proposal title Settlement of Traffic Violations Cases with Criminal Sanctions and a Restorative Justice Approach.

In addition, Diana Wulan Traya who took part in the thesis proposal test with the title Implementation of Diversion Against Children of Narcotics Abuse, Agisna Viet Maulida with the proposal title Urgency for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in the Framework of Prevention of Crimes of Sexual Violence, and Jefri Hardi with the thesis proposal title Authority for Determining State Financial Losses In Corruption Crimes After the Decision of the Constitutional Court Number 25/PUU-XIV/2016.

With this new implementation, we hope to add to the enthusiasm of the thesis fighters to complete their thesis properly and more optimally.
