HumasUPNVJ – In the context of discussing cooperation related to Independent Campus Partner Houses in the Depok City Government area, UPN Veteran Jakarta paid a visit to the Depok City Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) office (10/11/21) which is located on Jl. Margonda Raya No. 54, Depok City, West Java.
This event was attended by several representatives from UPN Veterans Jakarta, namely Dr. dr. Ria Maria Theresa, SpKJ., MH As Deputy Chancellor 3 for Academic Affairs and Cooperation, Dra. Intan Hesti Indriana as PLT Head of the AKPK Bureau and also Dr. Lidya Primpta Surbakti, SE., M.Sc., Ak as head of the Independent Campus Learning Program (MBKM), Dr. Mira, a representative from the Health Service, Indri from the Office for Community and Village Empowerment, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection and Population Control and Family Planning (DPAPMK), and Aris as a representative from Gunadarma University.
The event was opened by remarks from the Head of Bappeda Depok, Drs. Dadang Wihana, M.Sc. In his remarks, Dadang conveyed the preparations that must be made regarding this MBKM Cooperation. "Bappeda has an idea for a partner house for qualified human resources for the administration of Depok City so that it can be assisted, the regional apparatus prepares regional positions and details for apprentice students, then the regional apparatus must also create a system that can make apprentice students get clear output from apprentice program," he said.
Dr. Lidya Primpta as chairman of MBKM said that currently UPN Veteran Jakarta is supporting thousands of students to carry out the MBKM program in the Depok City Government area. He asked for support from the Depok City Government to prepare apprenticeship requirements from the regional apparatus and also integrity fact data regarding students who were apprentices.
Added Dr. Ria, in this program there must be synergy between mentors and apprentices. "For example, if there are students who do not report their activities, the mentor cannot be paid, and vice versa, if the mentor does not report, the students cannot be paid," he concluded.
Discussion of this collaboration is carried out in order to prepare students to face social, cultural, world of work changes and rapid technological advances, so that student competencies must be prepared to be more flexible with the needs of the times.
