He is the only Indonesian with a student background who is a COVID-19 monoclonal antibody researcher at the Salud Carlos III Institute (Instituto de Salud Carlos III) at CNIO Madrid, Spain.

Yudhi graduated from six years of studying at the Assa'adah Islamic Boarding School. This Islamic boarding school is located in a small hilly village in Kampung Pasir Manggu, Serang Regency. In Madrid, he joined well-known researchers from European countries, from England, Germany, Sweden and Spain. Wong Banten is even the only Asian at the Research Center of the Instituto de Salud Carlos III.

"I did research on monoclonal antibodies for COVID-19 at the Salud Carlos III Institute. I feel lucky and feel that the knowledge I have studied is more useful for humanity. It is more than just textual theory," said Yudhi from Madrid when talking to detik.com in Indonesia , Friday (22/10/2021).

Yudhi said that his research in Madrid focused on the field of molecular biology. His research is to look at the structure of a single molecule in a cell and understand how it works. In fact, he said, the research was also aimed at how to genetically engineer.

"Genetic engineering for the benefit of drug design and inhibition of virus infection to humans," he said.
