HumasUPNVJ - The second series of Medical Ethics Webinar at the National Veterans Development University Jakarta carries the theme: "Implementing Ethical Sanctions in Equitable Medicine".
The national webinar which was driven by Prof. Dr. Med. dr. Frans Santosa, SpJP, FIHA in collaboration with the Medical Ethics Council - Executive Board of the Indonesian Doctors Association (MKEK - PBIDI) with UPNVJ invited twelve speakers and the twelve speakers were important figures who were most competent in discussing appropriate medical ethics with the theme of this webinar, including: Prof. Dr. med. dr. Frans Santosa, SpJP, FIHA, dr. Mohammad Adib Khumaidi, Sp.OT, dr. Hadjat Santosa Digdowirogo, SpA, Prof. Dr. dr. Hardyanto Soebono, SpKK (K), Dr. dr. Yuli Budiningsih, SpF(K), dr. Peter. Johannes Manoppo, SpB, MBIO, FINACS, FICS, Dr. dr. Taufiq Pasiak, M.Kes, M.Pd.I, dr. Bambang Subagyo, SpPD, FINASIM, SMn, SAB, MM, dr. Yana Yanti Suleman, SH, Prof. Dr. dr. Agus Purwadianto, Sp F (K), SH, M.Si, DFM.
This webinar was attended by the UPNVJ Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Dr. Anter Venus MA, Comm representing the Chancellor of UPNVJ and dr. Pukovisa Prawirohardjo, SpS(K) also gave the opening speech.
In his opening speech , Anter Venus stated that this medical ethics webinar was the most important scientific forum to discuss the extraordinary theme of this webinar, especially because it was filled with competent speakers in the field of medical ethics.
Venus further states that this medical code of ethics can explicitly implicitly allude to existing ethical schools, namely: Deontology, Teleology, Ideology and also virtue ethics . Although the emphasis is explicitly given to a deontological approach based on ethical obligations.
"This medical code of ethics also contains in its articles the ethical principles that generally apply in making ethical considerations such as: Autonomy, Justice to Beneficence, Non-Meleficence, Veracity, Fidelity, Confidentiality , and Accountability ," he added.
Meanwhile, the Head of MKEK stated that this seminar was important for everyone involved in the health profession, especially in this case the medical profession. It is hoped that this webinar will generate ethical awareness for doctors in accordance with existing medical ethical values.
