Dewas Checks Construction of Learning Facilities at UPNVJ

Public Relations UPNVJ – Leaders of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) accompanied the Chairman of the Supervisory Board as well as Acting. Secretary of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology, Prof. Tjijik Sri Tjahjandarie, Ph.D checked the learning facilities.

In principle, UPNVJ's plan to provide facilities by building lecture buildings, student activity buildings and two-wheeled vehicle parking buildings was approved with the issuance of a letter from the Secretary General of the Ministry of Education and Culture number 31320/A.A2/LK.01.00/2023.

The urgency of providing these infrastructure facilities is based on the commitment to improving and optimizing learning and the interest of students both at home and abroad to study at UPNVJ as well as providing study rooms that can accommodate all students.

As a State University with Public Service Agency (BLU) status, UPNVJ is mandated by the government to optimize all the resources it has and/or effectively use BMN in the form of land, which from the start of its procurement was intended for the development of UPNVJ in providing services to the community.

On this occasion Prof. Tjijik visited the UPNVJ Parking Area (which is called APU). This parking area has been completed and was inaugurated on January 26. This building with an area of 1,630 m 2 consists of four floors with an area of 407 m 2 on each floor.

Switching from APU, together with the Chancellor, Dr. Anter Venus, MA., Comm and Deputy Chancellor for General Affairs and Finance, Prof. Dr. Prasetyo Hadi, SE., MM., CFMP, Supervisory Board visited the area where the Lecture and Student Activity Building (GKKM) is planned to be built.

In the middle of his visit, Prof. Tjijik provided reinforcement and reminded university leaders that this lecture building should be built by following predetermined standards and procedures.

It is known that the GKKM allocation will be used to support teaching and learning activities, centralization of activities and management of Student Activity Units (UKM), as well as public areas that can be used as public spaces for relaxing and resting for the UPNVJ academic community.

Located behind the Faculty of Law Building, the GKKM planned by UPNVJ will be built with a total area of 3,900 m2 . This building is designed to have eight floors with the ground floor divided into motorbike parking, the 1st floor as a public area , floors 2-4 for the UKM Secretariat Room, floors 5-8 for classrooms, and a rooftop .
