UPNVJ Public Relations – The UPNVJ MAPALA Hydraulic Team won third place in the Women's Head to Head category at the 2025 Ganespa Open R4 Rubber Boat Championship. This competition took place at Situ Tujuh Muara, South Tangerang, on Thursday (21/8/2025).
The 2025 Ganespa Open R4 Championship featured 18 men's and 12 women's teams from various universities, communities, and professional rafting clubs across Indonesia. The MAPALA UPNVJ Hydraulic Team demonstrated a brilliant performance, showcasing their fighting spirit, solid technique, and teamwork in the Women's Head-to-Head category.
Nadia Nugrahani, Head of the UPNVJ Student Activity Unit (UKM) MAPALA, stated that this championship was an important opportunity to hone the team's skills. "This competition serves as a training and evaluation platform for the 2025 Provincial Rafting Championship in September. This achievement motivates us to continue improving our technical and physical abilities," Nadia told the UPNVJ public relations team after the match.
Nadia added that the team had been preparing since July 2025 to ensure its readiness for this event and the upcoming provincial championship. "We underwent intensive training to build teamwork and physical endurance," she said.
Participation in the 2025 Ganespa Open R4 not only provides a platform for achievement but also strengthens solidarity among MAPALA UPNVJ members and their presence in the world of whitewater rafting. With these results, MAPALA UPNVJ is optimistic about the 2025 Whitewater Rafting Provincial Championship and is committed to bringing honor to the university through achievement and sportsmanship.
