Public Relations of UPNVJ - The Faculty of Computer Science (FIK) of the National Development University “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) showcased the Kaliguard technology innovation: 4 Systems in 1 Ecosystem at BelanegaraRUN 2025, held by the Indonesian Defense University (Unhan RI) at the East Plaza of Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), Jakarta, on September 7, 2025. Themed “Moving Together Towards a Golden Indonesia 2045”, this event combined a fun run, charity, and an exhibition of science and technology innovations.
The event was opened by Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), accompanied by Deputy Minister of Defense Donny Ermawan Taufanto, Deputy Chairman of Commission I of the House of Representatives Dave Laksono, and Rector of the Indonesian Defense University, Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Dr. Anton Nugroho. Thousands of participants, including Defense University students, alumni, students, state-owned enterprise employees, the general public, and people with disabilities, also enlivened the event.
The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine (FIK) at UPNVJ, Prof. Dr. Ir. Supriyanto, ST, M.Sc., IPM, emphasized that this participation is a form of academic contribution in supporting national defense through technology. "UPNVJ students have demonstrated their ability to create digital solutions that are relevant to the challenges of the times," he said on Monday (September 22, 2025).
Kaliguard, presented by Informatics students Fakhri Muhamad Ichsan and Ibnu Naz'm Ar-rosyid, consists of four systems for wastewater management:
SSADS (Smart Sensing and Anomaly Detection System): Monitors pH, temperature, suspended particles, and water discharge in real-time.
AIMDD (AI Monitoring and Decision Dashboard): AI-based dashboard for pollution trend analysis and prediction.
SIVS (Smart Integrated Visualization System): Analyzes water color with a spectrum sensor to identify specific pollutants.
SCESS (Smart Compliance and Enforcement Support System): Supports reporting and enforcement of violations according to regulations.
Fakhri expressed his pride in this opportunity. "This work isn't just for exhibition, but is expected to provide tangible benefits toward Golden Indonesia 2045," he said. This innovation received an enthusiastic response from booth visitors, including Unhan students and the public.
The participation of FIK UPNVJ expands the collaboration network and introduces student work to a wider audience, while strengthening UPNVJ's commitment to supporting national development through technological innovation.
