UPNVJ Public Relations – Veteran National Development University Jakarta has officially opened registration for the 2026 UPNVJ Independent Selection (SEMA UPNVJ) for prospective new students in the Diploma Three and Undergraduate Programs. Registration will open on Monday, May 25, 2026, at 3:00 PM WIB via the registration.upnvj.ac.id page. This pathway provides an opportunity for prospective new students interested in continuing their higher education at UPNVJ and who meet the established requirements. UPNVJ's Independent Selection is a new student admission pathway that provides applicants with the opportunity to join the National Defense Campus. Through this pathway, UPNVJ opens up opportunities for prospective students who demonstrate academic readiness, potential for achievement, and a passion for growth and contribution within the university environment.
For the 2026 UPNVJ Student Examination (SEMA), prospective students can choose from two entry routes: the Academic Route and the Achievement Route. The Academic Route uses the 2026 UTBK-SNBT scores and the 2026 National Defense Literacy Test as graduation criteria. Meanwhile, the Achievement Route uses a combination of academic and/or non-academic achievement criteria.
The opening of these two pathways expands access for prospective new students with diverse backgrounds and abilities. Prospective students with academic achievements can participate in the Academic Pathway, while applicants with additional achievements, both academic and non-academic, can utilize the Achievement Pathway, subject to applicable regulations.
Based on the official schedule, online registration for the 2026 UPNVJ Student Examination (SEMA) will take place on May 25, 2026, at 3:00 PM WIB (Western Indonesian Time) until June 4, 2026, at 3:00 PM WIB (Western Indonesian Time). Payment for the registration form can be made from May 25, 2026, at 3:00 PM WIB (Western Indonesian Time) until June 4, 2026, at 5:00 PM WIB (Western Indonesian Time). The registration process will open on May 25, 2026, at 3:00 PM WIB until June 4, 2026, at 11:59 PM WIB (Western Indonesian Time).
Prospective participants should also pay attention to several important steps after the registration process. Printing of UPNVJ SEMA registration participant cards can be done starting May 25, 2026, at 3:00 PM WIB, while printing of UPNVJ SEMA exam participant cards is scheduled for June 12, 2026, at 3:00 PM WIB. On the same day, UPNVJ will also announce information about the skills test for Achievement Pathway applicants.
The next stage is a trial run of the National Defense Literacy Test, which will be held on June 17, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. WIB. The National Defense Literacy Test is scheduled for June 25, 2026, from 8:00 to 3:00 p.m. WIB, while the skills test for participants will be held on June 27, 2026, from 8:00 to 4:00 p.m. WIB.
The announcement of the 2026 UPNVJ Student Executive Board (SEMA) selection results is scheduled for July 6, 2026, at 3:00 PM WIB. Participants who pass the selection process can continue the new student re-registration process from July 7, 2026, at 5:00 PM WIB to July 10, 2026, at 11:59 PM WIB.
