UPNVJ Public Relations - The Faculty of Computer Science (FIK) of the Veteran National Development University (UPNVJ) Jakarta has established a strategic partnership with MAKARA (Computer Science and Information Technology) of the University of Indonesia (UI) to conduct a computer-based Korean language exam. This agreement was discussed during an official visit by MAKARA UI representatives to the Dean's Office of the UPNVJ Faculty of Computer Science in Jakarta.
Present at the meeting were the Dean of FIK UPNVJ, Prof. Dr. Ir. Supriyanto, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Erly Krisnanik, Head of UPA Language UPNVJ, Ayunita Ajengtyas Saputri, and representatives of MAKARA UI, Chung Bong Hyup and Astary Tyas Darmawan.
"This collaboration aims to make FIK UPNVJ a center for computer-based Korean language exams, similar to the Computer-Based Written Exam (UTBK). This program is expected to facilitate access for Indonesians to international language tests with global standards," said Prof. Supriyanto on Tuesday (September 30, 2025).
He added that this collaboration strengthens UPNVJ's international network and supports the development of students' foreign language competencies. "We want to provide opportunities for students and the wider community to obtain internationally recognized Korean language certification," he said.
Through this collaboration, FIK UPNVJ and MAKARA UI are committed to providing quality language testing services. This program is also expected to benefit those seeking to improve their Korean language skills for academic, professional, and global mobility purposes.
