UPNVJ Public Relations - In the onslaught of Industry 4.0 competition in the world of education, universities have an important role in providing job opportunities for their graduates, in addition to that, cooperation in various aspects is also important for industry, especially international industry.

As a form of the campus' commitment to expanding international industrial cooperation, the National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) attended an invitation from the Beijing embassy in Indonesia on Friday, October 17, 2025.

The event is titled Discover Indonesia's Excellence, Trade Beyond Boundaries
with the theme Global Talent: Bridging Industry 4.0 Competency Gaps Via University-Enterprise Alliances, which was attended by several representatives of other universities from all over Indonesia.

Achmad Adhitya, Ph.D, as Special Staff to the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, was one of the speakers who filled this event.

In his presentation, Achmad Adhitya explained that major changes in industrial work technology are now driven by automation, artificial intelligence (Ai), big data, the Internet of Things (IoT), and robotics.

"Collaboration between universities and industry plays a crucial role in job opportunities for graduates. This includes real cross-aspect collaboration between university education and industry in the fields of AI, green energy, and manufacturing," he said.

He also said that, for example, the cooperation that has been carried out between Indonesia and China is a strategic cooperation.

"In carrying out cooperation with China, there are two main aspects: the political aspect by strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, and the commercial/business aspect by providing human resource investment through training or scholarships to students, especially in running industries," he added.

This activity is expected to provide great opportunities for resources in higher education to compete in the international industry, as well as become a bridge for Industry 4.0 Competence Through University-Industry Alliances.
