UPNVJ Public Relations - Jakarta, November 28, 2025 – Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) officially launched the UPNVJ Community Territory (UCT) as a strategic initiative to realize the Impact Campus concept. This program focuses on sustainable collaboration to improve the quality of life of the community within a 3-kilometer radius around the campus through socio-economic and environmental empowerment. The launch was held at the Faculty of Medicine Auditorium, followed by activities at the Pondok Labu Parking Lot, attended by stakeholders such as the South Jakarta Bappeda, Depok Bappeda, as well as local sub-district and village leaders.
UCT serves as a hub for collaboration between academics, local governments, partners, and the community. This initiative strengthens the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly community service, through programs such as dissemination of community service results and a bazaar for fostered MSMEs. The launch agenda included presentations of community service results by the community service providers, as well as a bazaar in the parking lot showcasing UCT partner MSME products and empowerment activities.
This activity aims to disseminate UCT's achievements to the community and stakeholders, strengthen cooperation within the UCT radius, and increase the scale of community service collaboration in the future.
Also in attendance were the rector, staff, faculty, students, and the general public, marking a shared commitment to sustainable positive impact. With UCT, UPNVJ hopes to become a strong collaborative hub that delivers tangible benefits to the surrounding community, in line with the expansion of programs such as the Mother and Baby Class and the National Defense Day Care, which were expanded in 2025.
UPN Veteran Jakarta Rector Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MA, Comm., emphasized the importance of this initiative. "The launch of UCT reinforces UPNVJ's vision as an impactful National Defense Campus, through an inclusive and sustainable community service policy. This will accelerate the achievement of Indonesia Emas 2045 by building socio-economic independence for residents around the campus," he said.
