UPNVJ Public Relations — Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) officially launched its Center of Agility on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Auditorium. This center was established to strengthen human resource capacity through an adaptive, collaborative work culture and a focus on the mental resilience of the academic community. The inauguration was conducted by the Head of the Academic Support Unit (UPA) for Career Development and Entrepreneurship at UPNVJ, Catur Nugarahaeni Puspita Dewi, and was accompanied by a seminar and workshop attended by more than 100 participants including lecturers, education staff, and students.
The Center of Agility offers strategic services such as one-on-one coaching, mentoring, thematic workshops, and specialized certification for lecturers and educational staff. This initiative was born from a collaboration with Hijrah Coach, a professional coaching firm founded in 2011 and providing business development, leadership, and transformation programs. This collaboration supports Agile University's initiative to make campuses more adaptable in the modern era, including the internationally recognized Agile Certified Hijrah Coach (ACHC) certification program.
The launch event included a seminar on "What is an Agile Mindset? How to Build Mental Fitness and Resilience" presented by Daru Dewayanto, Founder & Master Coach of Hijrah Coach, MCM., MCC., OCE-AC. Daru emphasized agility as a key competency in dealing with rapid change and mental stress in an academic environment. The series of events continued with a workshop in the UPNVJ HUB room, where participants practiced mental fitness techniques through a mentoring approach from the Hijrah Coach team.
Catur Nugarahaeni Puspita Dewi stated that the establishment of this center is a concrete step for UPNVJ in creating a responsive ecosystem. "The Center of Agility develops academically competent human resources, while also being mentally and adaptively prepared. This is essential preparation for lecturers, educational staff, and students facing the future," she said after the event.
Through the Hijrah Coach coaching and mentoring approach, UPNVJ builds a collaborative culture, enhancing graduates' competitiveness in terms of soft skills, adaptability, and leadership. Participants gain an understanding of the agile mindset concept and hands-on practice, in line with Hijrah Coach's leadership transformation services.
Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MA, Comm, Rector of UPNVJ, welcomed the launch as part of a strategic policy. "The Center of Agility aligns with UPNVJ's vision of producing resilient graduates. Collaborating with Hijrah Coach will strengthen the mental resilience of the academic community, enable them to achieve high achievements and make real contributions to the nation," he said in an official statement.
