UPNVJ Public Relations – Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) recorded a significant improvement in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2025. The campus rose 121 places globally, from 855th in 2024 to 734th with a total score of 6,110. This achievement reflects UPNVJ's concrete efforts in implementing environmental sustainability principles in various aspects of campus management.

UPNVJ's improved ranking was due to better score distribution across six assessment categories. In Setting & Infrastructure, UPNVJ earned 735 points; Energy & Climate Change 1,250 points; Waste 1,150 points; Water 463 points; Transportation topped the list with 1,263 points; and Education & Research contributed 1,250 points. This data comes from the official UI GreenMetric website, which emphasizes the university's commitment to a green and environmentally friendly campus.

Nationally, UPNVJ also rose seven places in the UI GreenMetric 2025 Indonesia Ranking, from 82nd to 75th. This jump demonstrates UPNVJ's competitiveness among Indonesian universities in managing efficient infrastructure, reducing carbon emissions, and promoting sustainability-based education. These efforts align with national sustainable development targets, including waste reduction and the use of environmentally friendly transportation.

Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MA, Comm, Rector of UPNVJ, stated that this achievement reinforces the campus's vision as a center of excellence for environmentally conscious education. "We continue to promote green policies through innovative research and collaboration, for a real contribution to society and nature," he said.
