UPNVJ Public Relations - The Director General of Financing and Risk Management of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, Suminto, conducted a field visit to the campus of the National Veteran Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) in Pondok Labu. Accompanied by Rector Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, this activity aimed to familiarize themselves with the physical condition of the campus and its operational management system to strengthen the synergy between the Ministry of Finance and state universities in managing quality institutions. This visit emphasized the importance of inter-institutional coordination to support national human resource development through accountable and sustainable education.
Suminto inspected various campus facilities, including academic and administrative areas, while interacting directly with students preparing for their thesis defenses. Drawing on his experience as a lecturer at several state universities, he asked in-depth questions about the dynamics of teaching and learning and management challenges. This warm interaction provided Suminto with a clear picture of UPNVJ's daily operations, which has achieved achievements such as increasing the accreditation of 17 excellent study programs through 2025 and optimizing state assets worth Rp79.6 billion for a teaching hospital. This activity is expected to open opportunities for broader collaboration, such as supporting research funding and campus infrastructure.
