UPNVJ Public Relations - The Faculty of Medicine, Veterans National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ), through the Pharmacy Professional Education Study Program, conducted a selection interview for new students on Monday, January 19, 2026, in the Dean's Meeting Room of the Wahidin Sudirohusodo Building, Limo Campus, Depok. This test involved 15 prospective students who had passed the initial stage, with the aim of assessing motivation, academic readiness, understanding of the pharmacist profession, and commitment to health ethics.
The process is conducted objectively by a team of faculty interviewers to ensure fair selection, while re-registration is still open until January 29, 2026, which will determine the total number of applicants.
This interview test is a crucial stage in the selection process, where the faculty team explores prospective students' views on the role of pharmacists in public health services.
Each participant was given an equal opportunity to share their vision, with a systematic assessment based on integrity and professional preparedness. This activity supports the Faculty of Medicine UPNVJ's efforts to produce competent graduates ready to face pharmaceutical challenges, such as medication management and patient education, amidst a national demand for pharmacists expected to reach 100,000 by 2025, according to data from the Ministry of Health.
The UPNVJ Pharmacy Professional Education Study Program, which has achieved superior accreditation, uses this test to strengthen the quality of its graduate output. The faculty aims to increase graduates' contributions to community service, with a focus on professional ethics and health innovation.
This selection is part of the faculty's strategy to increase the competitiveness of new students in 2026.
