UPNVJ Public Relations – Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) held a coordination meeting between the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Cooperation, and Information Systems (Field III) and the Vice Deans for Student Affairs and Cooperation from seven faculties. The meeting took place on Monday, January 19, 2026, in the Nusantara 2 Meeting Room and was led by Vice Rector for Field III, Dr. Ria Maria Theresa.
The coordination meeting discussed a number of strategic agendas, including the restructuring of the university-level Guidance and Counseling Team, the provision of guidance and counseling secretariat space, plans to increase student scholarships, and the development of UPNVJ cooperation in 2026.
"We need to ensure that the guidance and counseling services at UPNVJ run optimally, have a clear policy framework, and are able to address students' needs in a hierarchical manner, from minor cases to those requiring professional treatment," he said.
In the discussion, Dr. Ria highlighted the importance of strengthening a structured, tiered, and sustainable student counseling service system, including plans for collaboration with professional partners such as foundations and hospitals to handle moderate to severe cases.
In addition, this meeting also formulated follow-up actions in the form of preparing Guidance and Counseling Standard Operating Procedures (POB), structuring an integrated student data collection system, and strengthening student achievement reward policies.
These steps are expected to improve the quality of student services while strengthening coordination between the university and faculties in supporting the welfare and overall development of UPNVJ students.
"This coordination is important so that every student policy can be implemented uniformly across all faculties and truly impact the welfare and development of UPNVJ students," he concluded.
