UPNVJ Holds International Certification Training for Trainers and Assessors to Promote Accreditation of Certification Bodies.

UPNVJ Public Relations – The National Development University “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) held training and certification for Certified International Trainers (CIT) and Certified International Person Assessors (CIPA) from January 22 to 28, 2026, at the UPNVJ campus, Pondok Labu.

This activity involved 13 structural lecturers, including Rector Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MA, Comm., as active participants. The training aimed to obtain accreditation for the certification body from the National Accreditation Committee (KAN), so that the certificates issued would be internationally valid through the International Accreditation Forum (IAF).
The CIT training was held on January 22-25, 2026, followed by a CIPA session on January 26-28, 2026. UPNVJ collaborated with PT Quantum HRM Internasional to ensure that training standards met global requirements.

Dr. Kusumajanti, S.Sos., M.Si., as Head of the Academic Monitoring Unit of UPNVJ Competency Testing Services, explained that this initiative is the initial capital for accreditation of certification bodies, which until now has only been based on study programs.

This activity supports UPNVJ's program to improve the competency of lecturers as internationally certified trainers and assessors. With KAN accreditation, UPNVJ students can obtain globally recognized certificates, opening up broader career opportunities. The UPNVJ Competency Testing Service, built on the Special Standard Operating Procedures (SOPK) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, serves as a competency assessment center under the university's assessment center.

The primary expectation is that participants will not only complete the training but also actively contribute as trainers and assessors in the UPNVJ Competency Testing Service. This strengthens the internal certification ecosystem, ensuring the quality of graduates meets the demands of the global job market.
From the perspective of UPNVJ Rector, Prof. Venus, this activity reflects UPNVJ's policy of achieving academic excellence through international certification. "This accreditation by a certification body is a strategic achievement that supports the vision of a national defense campus, where UPNVJ lecturers are equipped with global competencies to contribute to the nation," she said.

This initiative is in line with UPNVJ's achievements in higher education, strengthening public trust in the institution.
