UPNVJ Strengthens Global Network, FISIP Partners with Batangas State University in Academic Exchange Program

UPNVJ Public Relations - The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of the National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ) held a meeting with Batangas State University (BSU) in the Philippines on Friday, January 16, 2026. The main agenda discussed exploring collaboration, including lecturer exchanges and student visits. This collaboration aims to enrich academic experiences, strengthen inter-institutional ties, and strengthen UPNVJ's international network in the field of global education.

Both parties agreed on an initial step in the form of a visit by BSU students and lecturers to FISIP UPNVJ planned for April 20, 2026. "This program is expected to open up opportunities for direct knowledge exchange, where students can participate in joint academic activities. In addition, the lecturer exchange allows FISIP UPNVJ lecturers to teach at BSU, thus supporting the development of an international collaboration-based curriculum," said Musa Maliki as Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation of FISIP UPNVJ.

This initiative aligns with UPNVJ's FISIP efforts to improve the quality of education through global partnerships. Focusing on social and political sciences, the collaboration is anticipated to result in long-term, beneficial joint projects, such as joint seminars or collaborative research.
