Facing the Challenges of 2026, UPNVJ's Faculty of Law is Building a Culture of Measurable and Accountable Performance.

Public Relations of UPNVJ - The Faculty of Law of the National Development University “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) affirmed its commitment to building a culture of performance and internal collaboration through the signing of the Derivative Performance Agreement of the Dean for 2026 which was held on Wednesday (25/2/2026) in the 2nd Floor Meeting Room of the Yos Soedarso Building. This activity was attended by the dean's staff and educational staff as a strategic step to unify policy directions, targets, and work responsibilities to face the challenges of the 2026 program. This momentum answers the fundamental question: how does the Faculty of Law ensure that each program runs measurably, accountably, and has a real impact?

The signing of the Derivative Performance Agreement is not merely the fulfillment of an administrative obligation, but rather an instrument for strengthening performance-based governance. The document outlines strategic objectives and key performance indicators derived from the Dean's Performance Agreement, ensuring that each work unit has clear and measurable operational guidelines.

The Dean of the UPNVJ Faculty of Law, Dr. Suherman, SH, LLM, emphasized that the derivative performance agreement serves as a common foundation for ensuring that all faculty targets can be achieved collectively. "This derivative Performance Agreement serves as a guideline for all levels of the Faculty of Law in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. We want to ensure that every set target can be achieved through measurable, accountable, and sustainable collaborative work," he said.

He added that successful performance implementation is determined not only by leadership but also by the support of educational staff as the driving force behind faculty administration and management. Synergy between units is considered a key factor in maintaining consistent indicator achievement, particularly in improving academic quality, strengthening research and community service, and optimizing results-oriented institutional governance.

Substantively, the 2026 Derivative Performance Agreement includes strategies to improve learning quality, scientific publication productivity, and strengthen institutional collaboration. This step aligns with the university's policy direction of building an integrated and sustainable Key Performance Indicator (KPI)-based management system.

Through this activity, the UPNVJ Faculty of Law reaffirms its commitment to building a professional work culture that adapts to regulatory dynamics and demands for public accountability. Aligning targets and responsibilities between units is expected to increase the effectiveness of program implementation throughout 2026 and strengthen the faculty's reputation nationally.
