Alma Mater Jacket Awarding and Character Building: PKKMB Officially Welcomes UPNVJ Faculty of Medicine's Specialist & Professional Pharmacy Students

 

Public Relations of UPNVJ - The Faculty of Medicine, Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) held an Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) 2026 for 11 students of the Radiology Study Program, Specialist Program, and 9 students of the Pharmacist Professional Education Study Program. The activity took place in the Auditorium Hall of Dr. Moelyono, Wahidin Sudiro Husodo Building, 3rd Floor, on Monday (2/1/26) and was marked by the symbolic pinning of alma mater jackets as an official sign of the new students' acceptance as part of the UPNVJ FK academic community.

PKKMB provides initial training for new students to understand the education system, academic governance, professional ethics, and academic culture within the UPNVJ Faculty of Medicine. The Dean of the UPNVJ Faculty of Medicine, Dr. dr. Taufiq Fredrik Pasiak, M.Kes., M.Pd.I., MH., CIPA, who officially opened the event, emphasized the importance of early adaptation in shaping character. "Professional and Specialist Program students are not only required to excel academically and clinically, but must also possess professional ethics, discipline, and the spirit of National Defense, which are the hallmarks of UPN 'Veteran' Jakarta. This PKKMB is the first step in shaping health professionals with integrity, national insight, and are ready to answer the challenges of the world of health," he said.

The Vice Dean and faculty leaders, including Dr. Sri Wahyuningsih, M.Kes., Sp.KKLP, and Dr. Erna Harfiani, M.Si. , Sp.KKLP, delivered further material on the education system, academic services, and student life. The event also included an introduction session for new students to foster camaraderie from day one.
