UPNVJ Public Relations – The National Development University “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) received a visit from Sam Ratulangi University (Unsrat) on Friday, February 6, 2026. This activity took place in the Nusantara 1 Meeting Room of UPNVJ and aimed to broaden insight, strengthen scientific discussions, and get to know the learning system and various activities supporting student competency development.
The Sam Ratulangi University delegation was welcomed by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Cooperation, and Information Systems of UPNVJ, Dr. dr. Ria Maria Therese, Sp.KJ., MH, along with the ranks of the Cooperation Section, the Head of the Student Affairs Working Team, the Academic Section, the Head of the Learning Development Center of the UPNVJ Learning Development and Quality Assurance Institute (LPMPP), the Head of the ICT UPA, and other related units.
During the meeting, the two universities discussed learning systems, student activity management, and best practices in supporting student development. The discussion also covered strengthening collaborative networks, particularly in support of the universities' internationalization programs.
A representative from Sam Ratulangi University stated that they are currently preparing visa arrangements for departure to Wuhu Vocational Technical University, China, as part of a student exchange program. The program is planned for 19 students from three faculties: the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, and the Faculty of Economics and Business. Therefore, the visit to UPNVJ also served as an opportunity to learn about the course conversion mechanism and share experiences regarding the number and management of UPNVJ's international collaborations.
In her remarks, Dr. Ria stated that this visit was a strategic opportunity to learn from each other and strengthen collaboration between universities.
"UPNVJ is very open to sharing experiences, particularly regarding managing international collaborations, converting courses, and strengthening student exchange programs. We hope this discussion will provide tangible benefits for both institutions in preparing students who are adaptive, globally competitive, and ready to face the challenges of the international world," he said.
Through this visit, it is hoped that sustainable synergy will be established between UPNVJ and Sam Ratulangi University in academic and student development, as well as expanding cooperation networks at the national and international levels.
