Commitment to Ethics, Professionalism, and National Defense: 186 Young Doctors from the Faculty of Medicine, UPNVJ, Take the Oath

 

UPNVJ Public Relations - The Faculty of Medicine, Veterans National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) officially held the 71st Young Doctors' Oath for 186 students in the Medical Education Program. The solemn event took place in the UPNVJ Faculty of Medicine Hall and was attended by faculty leaders, lecturers, educational staff, and the participants' families.

The Young Doctors' Oath is an important moment that marks the beginning of the professional education stage as well as the students' moral and ethical commitment to uphold the values of humanity, professionalism, and responsibility for public health services.

On this occasion, Afni Irmawati Suhandi achieved the highest Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.85. This achievement demonstrates her dedication and academic consistency throughout her undergraduate medical education.

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine UPNVJ, Dr. dr. H. Taufiq Fredrik Pasiak, M.Kes., M.Pd.I., MH., CIPA, in his remarks emphasized, "The oath of young doctors is a sacred promise that is morally and ethically binding. From today on, young doctors are not only required to be academically and clinically competent, but also to have high integrity, empathy, and social responsibility. Be a prospective doctor who prioritizes humanity, professionalism, and the spirit of defending the country as UPNVJ's identity," he said.

Afni Irmawati Suhandi, the highest GPA achiever, expressed her gratitude.

"I am very grateful and thankful to my parents, lecturers, and the entire academic community of the UPNVJ Faculty of Medicine for their support and guidance. This achievement serves as a reminder for me to continue learning and to practice my medical profession with full responsibility, empathy, and sincerity in serving patients."
