Public Relations of UPNVJ - The Institute for Quality Assurance and Learning Development (LPMPP) of the National Development University “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) opened the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year with a series of Roadshows to Socialize New Features of the Learning Process Information System (SIMPEL) on Thursday, January 22 to Friday, January 30, 2026 to all faculties within UPNVJ. This activity is LPMPP's commitment to encouraging the optimal use of SIMPEL as the main support system for managing the learning process.
Participants received a comprehensive technical explanation from the Head of the Learning Development Center of LPMPP UPNVJ, Dr. Ns. Arief Wahyudi Jadmiko, M.Kep., M.Pd.Ked., together with Ade Hikmah Tiana, M.Kom and the team regarding the utilization of the latest SIMPEL features. The presentation began with the evaluation and optimization of the preparation of Semester Learning Plans (RPS), updating, and aligning RPS with Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL) and Course Learning Outcomes (CPMK) in a systematic and documented manner.
Furthermore, participants were provided with an understanding of the question bank upload, management, and review mechanisms to ensure transparency and accountability in question preparation. They were also explained the validation process and use of the question bank as part of assessment quality control.
In the course portfolio management session, participants learn how to record learning through lecture journals, student attendance, grade input and recapitulation, and documentation of exam papers and evaluation results. All of these processes are integrated within SIMPEL, facilitating ongoing monitoring, tracking, and reporting of learning.
SIMPEL acts as an integrated platform that supports transparency, accountability, and governance of digital-based learning. Going forward, SIMPEL will continue to be developed with the addition of strategic features, including:
• Question review → the process of systematically reviewing, validating, and giving feedback on question papers.
• Learning reflection → facilitate lecturers to evaluate learning implementation, achievements, obstacles, and recommendations for improvement.
• Final project management → starting from title submission, supervisor assignment, supervision monitoring, to completion documentation.
With this development, SIMPEL is expected to become a learning information system that is increasingly comprehensive, integrated, transparent, and accountable.
