UPNVJ Public Relations - The Faculty of Medicine of the "Veteran" National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) through its Undergraduate Pharmacy Study Program continues to demonstrate superior quality in producing graduates who are ready to compete in the job market. In an interview conducted in early March 2026, the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Pharmacy Study Program, Primayanti Nurul Ilmi, B.Sc.Pharm., M.Sc., revealed five main advantages of this study program "We have an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Curriculum. The UPNVJ Undergraduate Pharmacy Study Program implements a curriculum based on outcome-based education (OBE), which is always updated to be relevant to the needs of the world of work and can be applied by students in everyday life. As part of UPNVJ, which is a National Defense campus, this study program integrates National Defense values in all its academic activities, with a specialization in the Health Sciences Dimension. In addition, the UPNVJ Undergraduate Pharmacy Study Program has also established extensive collaborations, both with national and international institutions, to expand learning and development opportunities for students. Lecturers' research that is already applied and contextual provides a direct contribution to the community. This program also emphasizes community service that has a real impact on the environment," she explained to the Public Relations team.
"In addition to technical skills, students are also trained to develop soft skills, which enable them to adapt to the work environment and society and increase their chances of finding employment after graduation.

In addition to continuing on to the Pharmacist Professional Study Program, these graduates also have significant opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry, including research, quality assurance, and quality control. They can also pursue careers in pharmaceutical distribution and pharmaceutical services, such as pharmacies, hospitals, and community health centers," he continued.
Graduates of the UPNVJ Bachelor of Pharmacy program have employment opportunities in government agencies such as the Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM) and the Ministry of Health. In line with the ever-growing trends in the cosmetics industry, graduates can also become entrepreneurs in the pharmaceutical sector, particularly in cosmetics.
