FIK UPNVJ Launches Integrity Zone Towards WBK and WBBM to Strengthen Campus Bureaucratic Reform

UPNVJ Public Relations – The Faculty of Computer Science (FIK) of the Veteran National Development University (UPNVJ) Jakarta (UPNVJ) launched an Integrity Zone towards a Corruption-Free Area (WBK) and a Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Area (WBBM) on Friday (March 13, 2026) on the UPNVJ campus. This launch is a strategic step for the faculty in strengthening organizational governance that is transparent, accountable, and oriented towards improving the quality of public services.

The event was attended by the Chancellor of UPNVJ, Prof. Anter Venus, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, Prof. Supriyanto, university leaders, faculty representatives, lecturers, and educational staff within UPNVJ.

In her remarks, Prof. Venus emphasized that the development of Integrity Zones is a crucial part of efforts to promote bureaucratic reform in higher education. She believes that good institutions are characterized by transparent governance, the use of digital technology, and services that provide certainty and convenience to the public.

The Chancellor also emphasized that the success of developing the Integrity Zone does not only depend on the system, but also on changes in the mindset and work culture of all elements of the organization.

"A good institution is characterized by transparent governance, the use of digitalization, and services that provide certainty and convenience to the public. Developing an Integrity Zone requires a shift in mindset and work culture so that all elements of the organization can work professionally, accountably, and with integrity," said Prof. Venus.

He also expressed his appreciation to the Faculty of Computer Science for taking concrete steps in implementing the development of an Integrity Zone within the university.

"The Faculty of Computer Science has set a good example in developing the Integrity Zone. I see excellent prospects for FIK to continue growing. The university will continue to strengthen and work together with all faculties towards WBK and WBBM," said the Rector.

Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, Prof. Supriyanto, explained that the launch of the Integrity Zone is a form of FIK's commitment to supporting bureaucratic reform and building a professional and integrity-based work culture within the faculty.

On this occasion, the Faculty of Information and Communication (FIK) of UPNVJ also introduced the Change Agent Team, which will be the primary driver in implementing the Integrity Zone. This team is expected to be a role model in implementing the values of integrity, discipline, and excellent service within the faculty.

Through the role of Agent of Change, the faculty strives to encourage the creation of a work culture that is more transparent, accountable, and oriented towards improving the quality of academic and administrative services for the academic community.

The launch of the Integrity Zone at the Faculty of Computer Science is part of UPNVJ's ongoing commitment to strengthening higher education governance that is clean, professional, and responsive to the needs of the community.
