UPNVJ Public Relations – Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) held a Halal Bihalal gathering for employees on Monday, March 30, 2026, at the Ceremony Field in front of the Dr. Wahidin Sudiro Husodo Building, Faculty of Medicine, UPNVJ, Pondok Labu. The event carried the theme “Loving Gatherings to Strengthen Brotherhood and Work Dedication as Worship” and was attended by all members of the academic community. This momentum served as a means of strengthening relationships among employees after the holy month of Ramadan and welcoming the return of full work activities.
This annual Halal Bihalal gathering aims to foster a sense of brotherhood, strengthen ties, and foster a comfortable and harmonious work environment. Through the tradition of mutual forgiveness, this activity is expected to foster a warmer, more collaborative, and more productive work environment within UPNVJ.
UPNVJ Rector, Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MA, Comm., in his remarks stated that this year's Halal Bihalal coincided with the first working day after the Eid al-Fitr holiday. He also touched on the implementation of the Flexible Working Arrangement (FWA) policy, which began on March 25, 2026, as part of an adaptive work system.
"This Halal Bihalal gathering is an important opportunity to strengthen togetherness and renew our work spirit. With a spirit of forgiveness, we can rebuild positive energy to improve our performance and provide the best possible service to the community," he said.
The event took place solemnly and warmly, attended by lecturers, educational staff, and all members of the academic community. At the conclusion, all participants took part in a symbolic greeting with the namaste gesture, a sign of respect and adhering to health protocols to prevent any untoward incidents.
Through this activity, UPNVJ affirmed its commitment to building a work culture based on the values of togetherness, integrity, and dedication. In line with the Rector's directive, Halal Bihalal is not only a ceremonial tradition but also part of strengthening the institution's character, realizing UPNVJ as a superior, competitive, and service-oriented university.
