UPNVJ Public Relations – Veteran National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ) held a health test for 940 prospective new students (camaba) who passed the 2026 National Achievement-Based Selection (SNBP). This activity took place on Monday, April 6, 2026, at the UPNVJ Merce Building, Limo, Depok, as a further stage of the selection process to ensure participants' health readiness before entering the world of college. All participants were also required to upload the test results through the official website https://uktmaba.upnvj.ac.id/ no later than April 6, 2026.
This health check is a crucial part of the final verification process for new student admissions. In addition to those who can participate in person on campus, UPNVJ also allows prospective students residing outside the island to undergo the examination at the nearest Regional General Hospital (RSUD), provided that the test results meet six criteria established by the committee.
The health examination includes a drug abuse screening for six types of substances: amphetamine, methamphetamine, cocaine, morphine (an opiate), marijuana, and benzodiazepines. Participants also undergo a color blindness test, which is a specific requirement for prospective students admitted to the Faculty of Medicine.
Fajar Nugroho, the Coordinator of New Student Admissions at UPNVJ, emphasized that health screenings play a strategic role in supporting the success of the educational process at the university. "These health screenings are not only part of the administrative requirements, but also serve to ensure students' physical and mental readiness for higher education. We are committed to creating a healthy, productive, and drug-free campus environment," he said.
Through this stage, UPNVJ affirms its commitment to maintaining the quality of student input, not only academically but also in terms of health and integrity. The comprehensive selection process is expected to produce graduates who are superior, competitive, and ready to contribute to society.
