UPNVJ Public Relations - The first day of the 2026 National Selection Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK-SNBT) at the Veteran National Development University (UPNVJ) Jakarta (UPNVJ) proceeded smoothly and orderly. The event began with a briefing by UPNVJ Rector, Prof. Anter Venus, in the Nusantara 1 Room of the UPNVJ Rectorate Building on Tuesday (April 21).
The briefing was held at 05.30 WIB and was attended by the Head of the UPNVJ UTBK-SNBT Center, Field Coordinator, Location Person in Charge, and Supervisors who were directly involved in the implementation of the exam.
In his remarks, the UPNVJ Chancellor emphasized the crucial role of all elements involved in the UTBK-SNBT implementation. He commended the committee for their optimal preparation for the exam.
"For all aspects of the UPN Veteran Jakarta UTBK-SNBT, from the committee and site managers to the supervisors, each has a crucial role. The committee has prepared meticulously, and the supervisors are responsible for ensuring the UPNVJ UTBK runs according to established procedures and regulations," said Prof. Anter Venus.
Furthermore, the Chancellor emphasized that the responsibility he bears is not only limited to ensuring the smooth technical implementation of the exam, but is also part of the state's mandate to guarantee equitable access to education for all participants.
"Our task isn't just to oversee implementation, but more importantly, to fulfill the state's mandate. We ensure that all participants have the same quality and right to education. The UTBK provides a platform for equitable access to education for all," he added.
Meanwhile, the Head of the UPNVJ UTBK-SNBT Center, Dr. Henry Binsar Sitorus, who also serves as the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs of UPNVJ, said that the entire series of UTBK-SNBT implementation at UPNVJ had been thoroughly prepared, both in terms of infrastructure, systems, and human resources.
"We ensure that the entire UTBK-SNBT implementation process at UPNVJ is conducted in accordance with nationally established standard operating procedures. Coordination between teams continues to be strengthened to ensure each exam session runs safely, orderly, and smoothly," he said.
He also added that his office is committed to maintaining the integrity and quality of the exam, so that the UTBK-SNBT results can serve as the basis for a fair and accountable selection process for all participants. With the commitment and synergy of all parties involved, UPNVJ hopes that the 2026 UTBK-SNBT will be conducted professionally, transparently, and with integrity, while providing equal opportunities for all participants.
