UPNVJ Public Relations - AIESEC in UPNVJ held the AIESEC Future Leaders (AFL) Summer Peak 2026 as a leadership development program for the younger generation. The two-month program concluded on May 30, 2026, in Jakarta, presenting a series of learning, mentoring, and collaborative projects. Through these activities, participants were equipped with professional skills, leadership, communication, and an adaptive mindset to face future challenges. AFL Summer Peak 2026 also served as a space for self-development that emphasized practice, reflection, and collaboration across backgrounds.

This program is designed as part of AIESEC's commitment to developing youth leadership potential. Unlike learning that focuses solely on theory, AFL Summer Peak 2026 encourages participants to apply the material directly through interactive activities and teamwork.

During the program, participants receive a variety of personal and professional development materials. Learning sessions cover self-leadership, strengthening professional identity, effective communication, creating an impact-based curriculum vitae, personal branding, and the ability to compose and deliver persuasive presentations.

The series of materials is led by speakers with experience in their respective fields. This way, participants gain insights relevant to the needs of the professional world and understand the importance of adaptability amidst social and workplace changes.

In addition to participating in sessions with speakers, participants also participated in discussions, self-reflection, and Special Track Activities (STA). Through STA, participants worked in groups to identify issues, develop ideas, and design solutions that could positively impact the community. These activities are an essential part of the experiential learning process. Participants were not only trained to think critically and solve problems, but also honed their collaboration and communication skills, as well as their courage to take initiative.

AFL Summer Peak 2026 also provided a space for participants to identify their potential and build self-confidence. In a collaborative and supportive atmosphere, participants were able to expand their network and build relationships with individuals from diverse educational backgrounds and experiences. One of the most memorable moments for participants was the AFL Graduation. This closing session served as a space for reflection on the journey and a token of appreciation for the participants' achievements after completing the entire program.

One of the participants, Nanda, said that AFL Summer Peak 2026 provided a positive experience as his first program with AIESEC.

"The AFL program is very well-designed and aligns with the curriculum that was developed from the beginning. I also found the environment very supportive from the organizing committee, coaches, and fellow participants. The various sessions provided helped me gain confidence in preparing for my future professional career and face challenges with a more positive perspective," he said.

Another participant, Ghuraf, expressed a similar impression. He assessed that AFL Summer Peak 2026 successfully provided a fun, interactive, and impactful learning experience.

"AFL activities are very fun, interactive, and provide me with new experiences and connections. What I enjoy most is the opportunity to discuss and collaborate with other participants from various backgrounds. After participating in AFL, I feel more confident, have gained many new insights, and am increasingly motivated to continue developing," he said.

Through this program, AIESEC in UPNVJ hopes that participants will continue to develop competencies relevant to future needs. Strengthening character, leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are essential for young people to contribute to their respective communities. The success of the AFL Summer Peak 2026 also reflects the importance of self-development spaces for students and the younger generation. In line with UPNVJ's direction as a national defense campus, youth activities like this are part of a learning ecosystem that encourages students to grow, take on roles, and make a positive impact on society.

From an institutional perspective, student leadership development is a crucial part of UPNVJ's efforts to produce graduates who excel not only academically but also possess character, social awareness, and readiness for change. This spirit aligns with the leadership direction of UPNVJ Rector, Prof. Dr. Anter Venus, MA, Comm., in promoting a campus that is adaptive, impactful, and oriented toward strengthening the quality of human resources.
